Rules & Regulations

Dublin cornhole rules only:

  1. Play three games verse each opponent
  2. First one to 21 or more than 21 wins. You CAN go over 21 in Dublin rules. You must however win by two points.
  3. If your bag bounces onto the board it is no good and must stop play to take it off.
  4. No cornhole dictators allowed! This is a recreational league. You must use our bags and must use our boards. If weather, lighting issues, levelness of the ground, quality of the bags and the boards is an issue for you then this is NOT the league for YOU! Dublin cornhole league is about cocktails, good music, fellowship and laughter. We are not professional cornhole players. We don’t even like professional cornhole players!
  • We reserve the right to eject anybody from this league if you are annoying or do not understand that this is a recreational league. If you are thinking about bringing your own bags, I will tell you now this is not the league for you.
  • The cost of the league is $500 per team. You can have up to five names listed on your team even though you are only playing two at a time. This will ensure that you are able to send a team each week. Any week that you have nobody show up this will be a forfeit and it will cost you an additional $25 per opponent, or $50 for a complete no-show week. The $50 fine for no-show will be added to the prize money at the end of the season. Only the five names listed on your roster at the beginning of the season are eligible to play for your team. You can certainly sign up with only two names on your roster but then you will have nobody to fill-in in case of emergency or illness. You may have two of your teammates play the first opponent and two different teammates play the second opponent but whoever starts the game must finish the game. You cannot substitute in the middle of a game. ( Having four people or more and alternating who is playing and who is cheering them on will make for a fun summer and keep the cost down if you so choose )
  • Point system – each game you win will give your team two points. Each game you lose will be -1 point. Any incomplete game because you ran out of time or sudden weather issues will result in zero points for both teams regardless of who was winning. We have allocated one hour and 15 minutes to play three games against each opponent. Should be plenty of time.
  • Prize money- (If we have 32 teams)
    • 1st place- $3500
    • 2nd- $1500
    • 3rd- $1000
    • 4th – $750
    • 5th-$500
  • The season will start June 5th! There will be a minimum of 10 weeks of League Play – there are some holidays and other Black Out Date with no league play. At the end of the season we will have an awards ceremony and party for all teams. Prize money will be awarded then – date TBA.
  • Open Court and Practice Play dates will be May 15th and May 22nd.
  • Teams must sign up and pay online at dublindeck.com. All teams will be first come first serve and although you may know the owners once the league is full there is nothing we can do. We are encouraging bars and restaurants to send one or two teams to this league as Mondays will be industry night at Dublin Deck.
  • Any other questions you can text Mark Miller if you were unable to find the answer on our website. First check “frequently asked questions” on the website before you text Mark. His number is .

Can’t wait to see you this summer at Dublin Deck every Monday night. Until then… Warm wins and cold beer and lots of ringers to you and yours!
